Ahlborn Holiday Tradition--Making Gingerbread Houses! Dec 09

Audrey invited over some friends and Isaac invited over 1 friend to make cute little gingerbread houses before Christmas! They had SO much fun! THANKS to our Dad for his hard work making the gingerbread house structures!!

Austin's Eagle Scout Project a SUCCESS! Dec 09

We are VERY proud of Austin and all the hard work he put into his Eagle project! In case you didn't hear, he did a COAT DRIVE (which included hats, gloved, socks & underwear) for children who are at the St Joseph's Orphanage here in Cincinnati.
Here is Austin at a collection bin that he had at one of many schools and businesses in the area.




We spent a lot of time sorting the coats etc...and then distributing them to people to clean before delivery! Our house was FILLED with coats for several weeks! SO grateful to all who donated!!




Loading the van for delivery to the orphanage...Austin's buddy Scott Johnson helped a lot!


Here is Austin with the lady that is in charge of the Orphange...Mrs. Lori. She was REALLY glad to receive all the wonderful donations!
