William said...

This morning I told William we were going to make peanut butter cookies today.
He wanted to make them right away, but I had a few things to do first, one of them being saying my morning prayer.

William followed me around doing all of those "things" asking, "Can we make cookies now?"...at every turn. So when it was time to say my morning prayer I asked him if he was going to stay in my room while I prayed or go out and play. He wanted to stay.

Then he asked....

William: "Why are you saying a prayer?"
Mom: "Because I need help from Heavenly Father."
William: "You mean you forgot the ingredients to the cookie recipe and
He's going to help you?"
Mom: (chuckling) "No, I need help with the ingredients to life."
William: "Now THATS funny Mom!"

What will I ever do without a 4 yr old in my house? :)

Austin turns 14!! February 6, 2011

Austin had a friend party this year. His boy-friends came on Friday night to sleep over and eat Mexican fare; then do a little gaming, nerf wars, and watch a movie. His girl-friends came on Saturday at lunch time for pizza, cake and your basic Jr. High socializing. Austin has a lot of friends (some couldn't make it to the party). And they are GREAT friends. I do believe a GOOD time was had by all. :)

Isaac's 1st Pinewood Derby Feb 2011

Isaac came in 3rd overall at his very 1st Pinewood Derby....which means he beat out most of the older boys!! AND his Dad did not help him with his design at all!! Good job Isaac!! (And he just happens to be the cutest cubscout I know!!)
Isaac's car is the silver one with the ligntening bolts to the far right.
